Epic love stories

Clare and Nik

The perfect celebrant! Karen was full of her own ideas, but perfectly willing to adapt to all of our requests and suggestions. She was incredibly professional, clearly on top of all the legal requirements, while never letting them get in the way of what was a beautifully crafted ceremony. In fact, she was so organised that the ceremony was the least stressful part of the whole day! I know that my wife was delighted by all the little things that she did to fit in with our theme, from nailing the tone of the ceremony, to ensuring that her dress fitted in with the colour scheme. More than anything, though, Karen is someone who clearly loves officiating weddings – and that will shine through in every ceremony she performs.  – Nik

Katrina and Jamie

Karen did the most beautiful job of our wedding ceremony. We wanted something nice and short and that reflected our personalities and that is exactly what we got. Karen was so easy to work with and helped us decide how we wanted everything and with our own vows. She braved the cold for our rehearsal and stayed with us even while we were just trying different entrances and deciding where we wanted the seats and decorations placed. She was always easy to get in contact with and made the whole thing stress free. I love my personalised folder that she made for us with our ceremony in it to keep. It was a wonderful day and made that much better by the presence of Karen to marry us exactly as we pictured.  Thank you Karen so much for an unforgettable day. – Katrina

I highly recommend Karen as a wedding celebrant. She was very helpful and had everything set out clearly so we knew exactly what had to happen and when. She also provided ideas on how to personalise our ceremony. Karen selected her outfit to fit in with our theme which was very lovely. – Brooke

Katie and Andrew

Hi Karen,

Andrew and I wanted to thank you again for marrying us at Lanyon Homestead in September.  Several people commented on the day what a lovely ceremony it was. Your relaxed and friendly style was a big part of that. We really appreciated your ideas and flexibility in creating a wonderful wedding that really reflected us and how we see our marriage. It was perfect.  Katie’s brother perhaps summed it up best when he said (in his somewhat laconic style) ‘awesome celebrant!’

Thanks again – Katie & Andrew

Bronia and Rupert

Karen- what can we say, you made our day incredible.  We received so many comments about how heartfelt, fun, genuine, and how ‘Rupert & Bronia’ our ceremony was, and that was all you. Thank you just really doesn’t seem enough, and its sad, but I miss hearing from you and your shopping exploits each week! I do hope you are well, I know you have been busy with so many other couples that were lucky enough, as we were, to find you and have you be such an important part of such an important day. From the bottom of our (now married) hearts, thank you for an amazing ceremony, rehearsal and for organising the chaos that is us!

Bec and Matt

We wanted to say a massive thank you from the bottom of our heart for everything you did to make our ceremony absolutely perfect! It was everything we hoped it would be and we couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant! We had so much great feedback from family and friends and even my mum (who has heard a few horror stories about celebrants and is very wary) thought you were incredible. Your help, guidance and professionalism was absolutely invaluable to us both before and on the day. It can’t have been easy working with two awkward engineers! We wish you the best of luck with all your future couples. We hope we get to see you again at another wedding! We’ll definitely be recommending you to anyone getting married in the future.

Dear Karen,

Thank you so much for being the best celebrant we could ever hope for. The ceremony was the perfect balance of fun, love and legal. It isn’t every day yo meet someone who is willing to dress up as your theme, blend in and blow people away with your performance. We hope you keep in touch. Keep up the great work!

Love always the “Party Couple”.
